Episode 2 of Soul Eater puts us in the shoes of another Meister-Weapon duo: Tsubaki and Black Star. Action-packed and still reliant on tropes, it manages to deliver a surprisingly heartful encounter with our resident idiot and the guardian of the witch he's hunting.
