Quiet and stable, the life Nanami Honda shares with her husband is exactly that — until the building manager finds a way to destroy it. The character animation holds up well, and the soundtrack does a decent job of keeping that suffocating atmosphere consistent throughout. If you've watched something like Kansen: Inyoku no Rensa and appreciated when the genre actually tries to build a psychological layer underneath the surface material, this sits in similar territory. It's closer in spirit to Kuro no Kyoushitsu than lighter entries in the genre — the tone stays heavy, and it doesn't really let up. Don't go in expecting anything lighthearted. This is a story about a woman trapped in an escalating situation with no clean exits, and it treats that premise with the weight it deserves rather than brushing past it.
