Synopsis
To Sora Kajiwara, the world is full of wonderful and adorable things she wants to draw—cats being a popular object of her affection. Even though there are some things that can't be captured with a pencil and paper, she still brings her sketchbook wherever she goes. Her love of drawing eventually leads her to join her school's art club, despite her shy and childish personality. Just like herself, all of Sora's fellow art club members have their own vivid imagination and personality to match. Through her interactions with the rest of the club, Sora begins to break out of her shell and see more of the world around her, taking every opportunity to sketch whatever is on her mind or in her heart.

I really liked this anime, it's slow-paced, relaxed, hilarious and wholesome. Even though there wasn't any particular focus on any of the characters, I really liked the fact that there were moments where the various characters were allowed to shine. This episode also does a really good job of reminding us of who exactly the characters are from Sora's perspective. The little deep messages scattered around in such a casual, friendly way are probably what I liked best, and ofc Sora's slow but sure character development throughout the series.
Omg, another popular scene that I never knew was from this anime. Kate really is quite funny. Another cute episode with a focus on the relationships the various characters have with their siblings. Little Sora and Ao were so adorable, even though lil Ao might have been a little adorably violent.
Yeah, Sora's friends might be a little weird, but they're good friends, and I love how all of them thought of her and tried to help in their own ways. I'm glad the cats got what they wanted, the ritualistic dancing was both hilarious and adorable. The hilarious warm vibe of this anime is definitely what makes me continue watching.
If I were actually invested in art, I would've definitely felt motivated to draw after this episode. Watching everyone experience autumn in their own way was nice. We also finally got an introduction to Minamo, and poor Negeshi is always getting trolled lol.
Really appreciate an episode with an underlying deep meaning to it. This one, especially with Kurihara being a surprisingly motivating character who studies because she has goals she wishes to achieve. The humour lands quite well this episode, with all the seniors and their various types of studying techniques.
Loved to see the way Sora spends her Sundays; she's a true tea addict, something I can totally relate to. We finally see the girl we met in the very first episode. Hope they can become really good friends. "An unusual Sunday, but it was a good Sunday as usual."
OH MY GOD I'VE SEEN THAT CAT SCENE BEFORE. This episode was amazing to watch lol, Kate's accent, the cats, the two senpais filling Kate's head with random stuff. Sora is also absolutely adorable, asking the cat for permission before she pets it.
Even though the episodes aren't really connected, I'm still liking the anime so far. A change in scenery every episode is fine for a relaxed, slice-of-life anime like this. I half didn't expect the overnight school trip to take place where it did, but it did end up being surprisingly fun despite the location.
I didn't expect an episode with talking cats, but it was unexpectedly fun. Mike's voice was exactly as I expected it to be, and her interactions with all the other cats were pretty to watch. "His head is as big as his ego" was a line I definitely didn't see coming lol.
Another comfy episode; this time we got more screentime for Kurihara, and I absolutely loved her expressions and her knowledge of bugs. The pacing is perfect for these episodes, and the backgrounds for the scenes are beautiful. The soundtrack also meshes incredibly well during Sora's little monologue, and I loved that too.
The little brother seems to be quite the opposite of Sora, and it was genuinely fun to see the difference in personalities portrayed in such a calm, easy-going manner. It also makes sense why Sora can get along with her friends lol; they're just like her. I liked this episode cuz I usually do appreciate the festival episodes, the fireworks, the games and the girls looked adorable in their fits!
Quite a cute but deep message with a chill, comfy episode - sometimes it's nice to break out of your usual routine just to experience something different. You never know what to expect, but that's what makes it exciting. Loved witnessing Sora notice all the neighbourhood cat's usual routines with such accuracy. I love Mike the cat too, girl just does what she wants to... I feel bad for the teacher though lol.
Witnessing Sora's hesitance to speak to new people, it's hard not to find her absolutely adorable. The art style, too, is adorable, just like her. It doesn't even matter much that there's close to no formal introduction to the many characters; the episode still manages to flow seamlessly. The expressions on their faces are also cute, and it really gives you that comfy vibe watching this anime. I really loved how each of the characters was trying to express their feelings through art in their own way, like fr though how do you capture that feeling of a really good discount deal on miso?!
Pretty solid ending episode. The story was pleasant and how they ended the whole story was also really decent. But overall, sorry to say, but I’m gonna give it a 5/10 stars ⭐️. It wasn’t anything new and I was actually looking forward to a great humor and some slice of life, but it was really mid. I probably wouldn’t remembered any episode OR characters from this series, and I really think they missed to give a focus on the characters! Watching it just felt really long and dull and it honestly had really good potential but I think they just missed on it.
Again, I liked the change of scenery for this episode! The humor really clicked with me and the story of them going out and about was also really nice. I especially liked the scene where Sora and Kate met up with another customer in the art supply shop. Not gonna say much but that scene was really fun HAHA. Plus, the short scenes of little Sora and her brother was also adorable!!
Mostly liked this episode because it had a lot of the neighborhood cats scenes HAHA. Sora’s plot is just secondary to me at this point, the cats is where the real story is at HAHA. But seriously, I do really prefer the overall humor and story that they give to the cats instead of the humans. It just connected better for me
FINALLY a club activity focused episode 😭 We’re 10 episodes in and we JUST got something that’s more art related. Like isn’t it supposed to be the center of the plot due to the name of this series?😭 anyways, it had a pretty solid story and okay humor. The change of scenery they had on this episode was also quite refreshing! It’s definitely one of the better episodes for this series haha
Alright, definitely better than last episode. Really like the humor in this one and how we got to see more of each character, especially the seniors and their personalities (well, as far as character exploring goes for this series I guess HAHA), but I really liked the theme of the episode! The pacing was also pretty okay in this one.
Didn’t really like or connected with this episode. The humor in this one kind was kind of bland and it kinda failed to keep me engaged throughout the episode. It was also sort of uneventful and they lowkey just stretched the simple plot into such a long episode 😭
Genuinely such a great episode for this series! The additional character added another layer of story and humor to the plot, and I also really liked how they showed us the pov of the cats in this episode as well, that was really funny in my opinion HAHA
