However, her performance is marred by frequent falls, leading to public skepticism. During a competition, a fatal accident claims the life of Canadian teen Pete Pumps during an air stunt. In a twist of fate, Pete's spirit possesses Tazusa for a hundred days. Despite her initial anger and the violation of her privacy, Tazusa refocuses her efforts on improving her skating.
