tsunade_titan★★★☆☆EP 1shusaku is way more aggressive than his brother was and the way he cornered that girl in the hallway made me realize this series is going to be much darker
An all-girls' school is where Shusaku has planted himself, and that position gives him access to more than just classroom duties. This two-episode OVA from 2003 follows his various encounters with the women around him, each with her own personality and situation, as things escalate in predictably explicit directions. The setup is straightforward: a guy with questionable morals, a school full of women, and no shortage of opportunities for things to get provocative. It does not pretend to be anything other than what it is. The tone leans into the absurdity of the premise without much hand-wringing about it, which at least keeps the pacing moving. ORADA COMPANY brings their recognizable adult animation aesthetic, and the character variety does give each episode a slightly different flavor rather than just repeating the same scenario twice. If you watched Kisaku and wanted more of that energy with a different lead, this is essentially that, Shusaku is positioned as a continuation of that world, and fans of Shusaku Replay will find familiar territory here. Bible Black scratches a similar itch if you prefer something with slightly more atmospheric setup. It is a short watch at two episodes, so the commitment is minimal. Just go in knowing exactly what kind of OVA this is, because it is not trying to be subtle about it.

tsunade_titan★★★☆☆EP 1shusaku is way more aggressive than his brother was and the way he cornered that girl in the hallway made me realize this series is going to be much darker
windblight_ganon★★★★☆EP 1that scene with the camera in the locker room felt so old school and the animation held up better than expected for a random oav from the early two thousands
toga_260★★★☆☆EP 1I forgot how much of a creep Shusaku is compared to Kisaku and the way he just watches them in the infirmary was actually unsettling
gisell_ghoul_485★★★★☆EP 1I was really curious to see if this would live up to the reputation of the prequel, and man, Shusaku is a completely different beast than his brother. The way he manipulates the situation at the girls school is terrifying but also kind of fascinating to watch from a distance. That final shot of him smiling in the dark really got me
rei_hino_373★★★★☆EP 1that one scene where he blackmails the student council member is exactly the kind of gritty drama that makes these old school titles so memorable
fujin_fighter_37★★★☆☆EP 1the dialogue in the office was so dry and I think they spent way too much time on the setup instead of getting to the actual action
devonte2847★★★★☆EP 1This episode sets a high bar for the rest of the series, especially with that basement scene that shows just how far Shusaku is willing to go
zamazenta★★★★☆EP 1the ending scene with the lesbian couple in the infirmary was actually insane and Shusaku is just watching everything from the shadows like a total creep
rosa_sisters_276★★★☆☆EP 1it is definitely different from the Kisaku stuff and the pacing feels a bit slower but the tension in the hallway scenes was pretty good
adjuchas_ace_478★★★★☆EP 1the way Shusaku operates is so much more calculated than Kisaku and he is definitely wasting zero time getting started with those girls in the dorms
serena★★★★☆EP 1I cannot believe Shusaku actually secured a job at a school like that and it already feels darker than the original series
elle_hq★★★★☆EP 1the character designs feel a bit dated for my taste but the atmosphere at the academy is suitably creepy and unsettling for a first episode
jackie_jackal_491★☆☆☆☆EP 1my stomach turned when he started recording them through the mirrors because it is just way too much even for a series like this
guts_the_swordsman_189★★★★☆EP 1I stayed for the nurse office scene because the sheer amount of lesbian content is twice as much as anything kisaku ever pulled off
monk_kass★★★★☆EP 1those girls really had no chance once he started his schemes and the psychological stuff with the teacher was actually pretty dark for this kind of show
ningyo_nemesis_48★★★☆☆EP 1the way he just blackmails his way through the faculty lounge is so greasy and you can really see the old school 2000s animation style holding up during the darker moments
captain_keeta_278★★★☆☆EP 1I think the lesbian scenes are way more intense than what we got in the previous series, but Shusaku is still the absolute worst person ever for what he did to the student council.
sophia_ascart_167★★★★☆EP 1shusaku is even more of a creep than kisaku ever was and that locker room scene shows exactly why this series has the reputation it does
saitama_smasher★★★★☆EP 1That final scene with the camera setup in the girls locker room really shows how dedicated this guy is to his twisted hobby and it was actually pretty tense
rickert_the_smith★★★★☆EP 1I really prefer the way Shusaku operates compared to his brother because he uses his head a lot more and the whole reason and fetishism theme actually shows up in how he breaks these girls down and that scene in the nurse office was just brutal and it definitely captures that specific dark two thousands OVA energy that most modern shows are missing
