Shusaku Liberty

Synopsis
An all-girls' school is where Shusaku has planted himself, and that position gives him access to more than just classroom duties. This two-episode OVA from 2003 follows his various encounters with the women around him — each with her own personality and situation — as things escalate in predictably explicit directions. The setup is straightforward: a guy with questionable morals, a school full of women, and no shortage of opportunities for things to get provocative. It does not pretend to be anything other than what it is. The tone leans into the absurdity of the premise without much hand-wringing about it, which at least keeps the pacing moving. ORADA COMPANY brings their recognizable adult animation aesthetic, and the character variety does give each episode a slightly different flavor rather than just repeating the same scenario twice. If you watched Kisaku and wanted more of that energy with a different lead, this is essentially that — Shusaku is positioned as a continuation of that world, and fans of Shusaku Replay will find familiar territory here. Bible Black scratches a similar itch if you prefer something with slightly more atmospheric setup. It is a short watch at two episodes, so the commitment is minimal. Just go in knowing exactly what kind of OVA this is, because it is not trying to be subtle about it.
