The first episode of season three is well-paced and tells the story of Howan, who lives in a snowy area and has been accepted into a singing competition in the big city. It also covers everything that comes with that in her hometown, where everyone knows her. It's canon within the story, and if you like music and such, it's a good episode. It's a bit cliché, and only the main characters are drawn as half-beasts, while the rest are just small animals with some human features. It does have some fan service moments.
