Badly enough to wash corpses at a hospital, that's how much Seiji Yasaka wants to become a doctor. Not glamorous, but he figures it gets his foot in the door. He develops feelings for a nurse named Yuuki, the deputy director has her own complicated interest in him, and for a while it plays out like a dark romantic drama set against sterile hospital corridors and uncomfortable secrets. Then the floor drops out. The nurses around him start feeling wrong in ways he can't quite explain, and the hospital's quiet experiments begin surfacing in ways that reframe everything he thought he understood about where he works — and who he is. The OVA runs three episodes and leans hard into that unsettling space where horror and erotic tension overlap, which is either your thing or it isn't. The atmosphere does a lot of the heavy lifting — there's a genuine sense of dread built into the setting that keeps it from feeling like pure exploitation. If you've seen Night Shift Nurses or Dark Love and appreciated how those titles used medical environments to create something genuinely uncomfortable rather than just titillating, this sits in similar territory. It's closer in tone to Bible Black in how it handles the psychological unraveling of its protagonist. Don't go in expecting answers handed to you quickly — the early episodes are slow burns that trust the dread to build on its own.
