📖 SYNOPSIS

The setup: Taisei Onari transferred to Shinkai Academy looking for answers about his sister's disappearance and ended up piloting a mecha that transforms from an actual Shinkansen bullet train. Now, after a full year of battling mysterious entities called the Unknown alongside his fellow pilots Ryota and Mai, the team gets pulled into something arguably scarier than combat — a presentation tournament. Their commander Ganma makes them stand up and talk about their regional Shinkansen and Shinkalion forms, which turns into this surprisingly warm retrospective of everything they've been through together. It's basically a clip show with heart, the kind of breather episode that works best when you're already invested in the cast. If you grew up on Transformers: Robots in Disguise or got hooked on the team dynamics in Gundam Build Fighters, the vibe here is familiar — real-world vehicle designs meeting mecha action, wrapped in genuine kid-friendly sincerity. Production I.G and Signal.MD handle the animation, so it looks clean. Fair warning though: this one's really meant for people who watched the main series.
