Episode 1 of *Full Clearing Another World under a Goddess with Zero Believers* looks at the classic “truck-kun isekai starter pack,” throws the truck in the trash, freezes the entire class into human popsicles instead, and then hands the protagonist the cosmic equivalent of a participation trophy that expires in ten years. And somehow I’m still watching. Makoto Takatsuki and his classmates die the most mid way possible: Not heroic. Not dramatic. Just collective hypothermia with extra steps. They wake up in another world, a water goddess appears like a particularly pushy mall kiosk employee, and the ability lottery begins. Everyone else starts flexing cheat skills that could probably solo a small country before breakfast. Makoto gets Apprentice Mage, stats that look like my bank account after a particularly ambitious DoorDash week, water magic that couldn’t drown a particularly determined goldfish, and a cheerful system notification that basically says “you have ten years left, try not to waste them.” That’s not a character build. That’s a limited-time event with a hard end date. Most isekai protagonists would unlock “Secretly the Strongest” by episode two and start deleting continents by sneezing in the wrong direction. Makoto just stands there with the emotional range of a well-organized Google Sheet and decides to treat his tragic starter kit like a glitchy hardcore RPG speedrun. The man looked at “garbage stats + death timer” and said, “Ah, a challenge run. Let’s go.” Respect. Or deep concern. Possibly both. Then the real MVP arrives: Noah, a goddess with **zero** believers. Zero. Not “a few.” Not “underground cult.” Zero. Imagine being an actual divine being and still having the follower count of a brand-new Instagram account that only posts pictures of sad salad. She’s not majestic. She’s not serene. She’s a washed-up celestial hustler operating out of the divine equivalent of a storage unit, desperately pitching herself to the one guy whose stats are somehow worse than her engagement metrics. Her recruitment energy is pure “please be my friend I am so lonely” mixed with the intensity of a multilevel marketing scheme that just found its first victim. At one point the signing bonus escalates to underpants. In a world with temples, bureaucracy, and actual currency, the goddess is out here offering lingerie like it’s a limited-time Twitch sub perk. Peak comedy. Peak desperation. Peak “I respect the hustle and also fear for her.” Their dynamic is the best thing the episode has going. Two people who both lost the cosmic lottery forming the world’s most underfunded startup: *We Have No Believers LLC*. One has stats that would get him kicked out of a tutorial and a life expectancy that fits on a sticky note. The other has the public relations skills of a wet napkin and the dignity of someone who just offered underwear to a high schooler. It’s less “chosen one and divine mentor” and more “two interns trying to look busy while the actual employees flex on them in the group chat they were removed from.” The rest of the episode is pure isekai bingo played at double speed: - Bus death (but make it hypothermia) ✅ - Status windows ✅ - Classmates flexing broken abilities like they just won the lottery and also the lottery’s lottery ✅ - Protagonist left behind so fast he still has emotional jet lag ✅ - Goblins that look like they escaped from a 2008 mobile game and are being extremely brave about existing in 2026 ✅ The classmates exist purely to make Makoto look like the group project member who got stuck with the leftover PowerPoint slides and the coffee order. His merchant friend gets a genuinely interesting dating-sim memory power (instant replay of every conversation he’s ever heard) and then immediately leaves town, which is the show writing its most interesting supporting character and then shipping him out like an unwanted Amazon return with free packaging. Pacing is efficient in the same way a man reading the entire terms and conditions out loud while making sustained eye contact is efficient. The animation is clean enough when it’s 2D. Then the CG goblins show up looking like they were rendered on a toaster and given a pep talk. The soundtrack mostly just vibes in the background until Noah appears and suddenly pretends it’s a Final Fantasy cutscene that somehow got lost and wandered into the wrong anime. Is this reinventing the genre? Absolutely not. It’s the hotel breakfast of isekai: technically edible, free with the room, and you will forget the exact flavor by checkout. But the core duo has real comedic potential. A blandly competent gamer who refuses to accept his trash build, and a desperate gremlin goddess who will do literally anything for one believer and has already offered underpants as proof. If the series leans into that mutual loser energy instead of suddenly handing Makoto Plot Convenience EX and a “just kidding, you’re actually the strongest” card, it might actually be fun. For now? It’s a decent start carried almost entirely by how hard Noah is willing to debase herself for engagement metrics. I’m watching Episode 2. Not because I’m deeply invested in the worldbuilding… but because I need to see what other unhinged recruitment tactics a zero-believer goddess is willing to try. At this rate, Episode 3 is going to open with her offering timeshares in the divine realm and a complimentary tote bag.

The way the priest and sister spoke trash in front of him 🤣🤣🤣 I would've assumed the RPG Player was gonna be like being able to level up stats and such but I guess that's everyone lol. But with the way they spoke about it then he should be very good with strategies. Point proven with how he dealt with the goblins. Once he gets a bit stronger then he should become op overtime 😁 i wonder what kind of blessing this new goddess will actually give him tho
