📖 SYNOPSIS

Following his return from World War II, a veteran karateka finds himself employed by the yakuza. Burdened by his experiences and seeking an end to his life, he desires a final, worthy opponent. To this end, he enters and wins a karate championship, hoping to find someone strong enough to defeat him. His path then crosses with an Italian woman, driven by a burning desire for revenge against the Nazis who murdered her family. Drawn together by their shared experiences of violence and loss, they form an unlikely alliance. The anime explores themes of trauma, the search for meaning, and the enduring impact of war, as the karateka and the Italian woman navigate a world shaped by conflict and vengeance.
