The show should stick to 2d animation, to be honest advent technology such as cgi instantly dates your medium since it's in the early stages it will clash with what you are already using, and makes things look out of place. The pacing seemed a little too fast; almost like it was cutting scenes that'd have flowed more seamlessly. If the spaceship our protagonist was on wasn't shot down, Kou would've missed the second jewel. In my experience there is no such thing as luck.
