That scene at the twelve minute mark was way too much and it felt tasteless and unnecessary for the story even if the rest of the show looks nice

The visuals are seriously beautiful and the colors look so bright during the scenes with Shima which is weird because the actual plot about a sex cult is pretty disturbing

Seeing the way the protagonist acted toward people before meeting Shima was annoying because he was such a jerk and then that weird assault scene in the middle was just sick

I felt so uncomfortable when they showed those depraved rituals, but the animation is actually way better than I expected for something this dark and twisted

Shima Itski is definitely a mysterious character and the way she just hands over a whole house and a car to a random guy on the street was a massive shock

Everything moved so quickly once he met Shima and the car and the house were just the beginning of the depravity and the lord title definitely went straight to his head

The rituals are the main draw here and they did not disappoint with the variety and the way Shima looks when she is explaining the rules of the cult is really striking

Watching a middle aged guy go from sleeping on the ground to being worshipped in a sex cult is some crazy wish fulfillment and the art style stays consistent through the whole episode

The setup with the protagonist losing everything because he is a jerk makes the whole cult leader thing feel earned in a weird way and you can tell he enjoys the power and Shima is obviously the one pulling the strings behind the scenes while he gets all the perks and the money and the mansion and the rituals are quite intense

I wasn't expecting the protagonist to be such an unlikable guy at the start, but it makes him becoming the leader of Ishin No Kai more interesting. Shima Itski is gorgeous and I want to see her true motives.

That transition from the street to the cult headquarters was fast and the rituals are already getting out of hand and the lord persona suits his arrogant attitude from the start

The animation in the ritual scenes is actually decent, which is rare for this genre. It was pretty dark seeing how the cult operates, but the protagonist fits the role perfectly.

I think the way this guy just jumped at the offer from Shima is so real and his life was trash so of course he wants the money and the car plus the cult rituals are pretty wild

I was really struck by the contrast between him being a homeless bum and then suddenly living like a king in that mansion and Shima is definitely hiding something behind that smile

Starting off with a protagonist who is actually a terrible person makes the whole cult leader transition feel much more natural and the character designs are surprisingly good for this kind of show

The contrast between his old life and this Ishin No Kai place is huge and the way Shima looks at him is kind of creepy
