📖 SYNOPSIS

"Shibuya Vernacular" is a short anime project that takes viewers on a journey to the very beginning of Shibuya Crossing, a staggering 10,000 years in the past. This unique project, spearheaded by Yoshitoshi Shinomiya, utilizes a hybrid approach, seamlessly blending animation and live-action elements to bring its vision to life. The short anime was initially screened on the iconic screens of Shibuya Crossing itself, offering a unique viewing experience. A version optimized for YouTube was also released. The project is currently running a crowdfunding campaign with a goal of 1,800,000 yen to fund an exhibition of production materials in Shibuya, scheduled for mid-August.
