📖 SYNOPSIS

Lu Chen, a former undercover agent known as "Shadow," is forced into exile after a demonic curse destroys his cultivation. Years later, his master, Tian Lan, tasks him with infiltrating the Kunlun Sect to expose a demon sect operative. To accomplish this, Lu Chen becomes a lowly handyman disciple. While carrying out his mission, he forms bonds with new friends and finds love with Yi Xin. He also uncovers unsettling secrets about the Kunlun Sect, including the true nature of the black dragon sealed within their forbidden land. Lu Chen begins to question the established notions of good and evil, especially when he realizes Tian Lan's true intentions. With Yi Xin's support, he decides to forge his own path, guided by his conscience rather than rigid moral codes.
