Shadow

Set in the peaceful Edo period of Japan, the skilled ninja Karyu finds herself working as a hired killer, a profession that is becoming increasingly obsolete. Her latest assignment is the assassination of a merchant. Upon arriving at the merchant's residence, Karyu discovers that the merchant's servant is, in fact, another ninja named Uzume, who possesses skills comparable to her own. The two ninjas, both masters of their craft, are then thrust into a bloody and intense competition. They are forced to confront each other in a battle to determine who is the superior ninja, testing their skills and resolve.
