Then, out of nowhere, a divine entity hands him hypnosis powers, and suddenly the most prestigious academy in the region is his personal playground. That's the pitch for Sexfriend Gakuen, a one-episode ONA adapted from the manga of the same name. It leans hard into the wish-fulfillment fantasy angle, following Takeshi as he uses his new ability to build a harem from the school's most attractive girls. There's a thin layer of dark humor coating the whole thing, and the hypnosis mechanic at least gives the story a slightly different texture than straightforward hentai setups usually bother with — it introduces a power dynamic and a faint psychological edge that makes it feel a little more deliberate in its construction. The animation blends older hentai aesthetics with cleaner modern techniques, which gives it a distinct enough look. If you've watched something like La Blue Girl and appreciated how those older titles mixed outrageous scenarios with a certain genre self-awareness, this scratches a similar itch.
