SENGOKU NIGHT BLOOD

This was a satisfying finale. I love how nearly every faction worked together towards a single goal. The pacing is also really good here with how they balanced such a large scale push with individual moments. The animation was also crispy and clean, I can definitely feel the increased level of production here. The music choice was also great! It was such a good choice that allowed me to realize the sense of scale this episode was going for.

I really like the momentum build up in this episode. I appreciate the brief moment of reunion though, it was heartwarming. The pacing was also good as it balanced that calm, heartwarming reunion and the tense defensive situation. The action and animation during the defense was dynamic and visually appealing. I also love how they kept the tension high at the defense, and made me wanting for more in the next episode.

I like that this episode focused more onto the rivalry between Hideyoshi and Nobunga, it finally gave them a real history and a real reason about their rivalry. The pacing was good since it spends meaningful time between the two leads instead of spreading it out across the entire cast. I can really feel the weight of the rivalry because it was built on something personal and their hostility towards each other was well explained due to their shared history.

I like that they finally answer the reason why the monsters attack. The pacing is quite smooth here, the investigation was good and easy to understand, and I can feel the group moving with purpose. The reveal about the monsters was clean, and wasn't buried in any long dialogue.

This was quite a tense episode, and I am worried about Yuzuki's position here. The pacing here was slow but it was okay since it gave each move a sense of weight instead of rushed scenes. I like that the Oda army's base was quite distinct and memorable, it has a darker color palette and an oppressive vibe to it.

This was an energetic episode imo. The pacing is great here, it moves quickly though I am a bit worried about Yuzuki here. I also liked the new army's strong introduction here, they also have a unique visual style, they look quite fierce ands sharp. I also liked how the episode changes from being tense to dangerous, I love the thrill here!

It was nice that we can have a recovery episode after the chaotic previous episode. As usual, the pacing here is slower while waiting for a new conflict to arrive. I do like the writing for the new characters though, it gave them more depth and personality.

Okay, so this was quite a chaotic episode. Every faction was present in the massive battle, but at least they gave each side their own thread to follow. I love the large scale battles here, the animation is crispyyy, and the burning environment was awesome with the chaotic battle here.

So this was actually quite an intimate episode per se, I like how their focus here is with a smaller group of characters rather than factions. The pacing is still slow, calm, and relaxed, but it gives Yuzuki enough room to interact with the new cast. I also appreciate the small comedic parts here, it gives the episode a bit more personality.

Okay so this was a more slower episode, I felt like this is a political episode because of that diplomatic meeting. The pacing was surprisingly calm here, but the story doesn't really feel like it is progressing.

The storytelling here is better than the last one, it finally narrows its focus around Yuzuki and starts building what her role is. I noticed that the pacing here is smoother and gave more time in explaining the threat. I also appreciate the use of good lighting during the confrontation scenes, it gave more weight and emotion on those scenes.

I kinda dislike how this episode just threw everything all at once, the six faction, the new world, and the MC. The pacing here feels rushed and it's like they are trying to fit every introduction in this episode. I do appreciate the militaristic appearance of the characters, I like their style.

I really enjoyed the finale because everyone came together to rescue yuzuki and help each other. It genuinely felt like watching an otome game series, which made it even more fun. Overall, it was a really enjoyable series from start to finish.

Nothing much really happened in this episod it mostly had a warm, homey atmosphere now that Yuzuki is back. For me, it was just okay. I’m getting a little impatient because I’m still waiting for the intense battle against the Yakuma.

Thought this was going to be the episode where everything went into chaos. Well, this series keeps building up my expectations. I also didn’t expect that, despite how cold Nobunaga seems, his goals are actually for the good of everyone.

I thought this episode was going to be another flat one, but it turned out pretty good. Once again, it highlighted Yuzuki’s wonderful personality and showed how easily she wins over the people around her. And it looks like something big is about to happen in the next episode.

This episode wasn’t particularly intense, but it definitely wasn’t boring either. It just wasn’t as appealing to me as the previous ones. Still, I’m curious to see how the story will unfold in the upcoming episodes.

I don’t want to be biased, but so far, I think I like Kenshin the most for Yuzuki out of all the warlords introduced. There’s just something about him that really stands out.

The story felt really intense, the pacing was just right for me. Everything flowed so naturally that I never got bored. It’s honestly becoming more and more appealing with every episode.
