As fan of Kanade, this episode and this whole arc with her is giving me a rollercoaster of emotions. The more we learn about her and her past, the easier it gets to understand her character and the way she acts, which leaves us wanting for her to just be happy. But it also makes it hard to ignore all her flaws, because even the most perfect characters are not really perfect at all.
