📖 SYNOPSIS

"Scape Escape," a graduate film from Tokyo University of the Arts, centers on a man with a singular ambition: to escape. He yearns for freedom from something, and equally desires to remain unaware of the circumstances surrounding his situation. The narrative follows his attempts to achieve this dual goal. The animation explores the man's journey, highlighting his efforts to evade something or someone. Despite his best intentions, his quest for escape is consistently challenged. He finds himself repeatedly encountering the very elements he is trying to avoid, suggesting a thematic exploration of fate, the futility of avoidance, or perhaps the inescapable nature of reality. The specific nature of the "escape" and the "them" he finds are left to the viewer's interpretation.
