Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun Mini Anime Gekijou
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Meet a high school freshman named Kōyō Kotesashi, whose one unusual talent is giving incredible massages. To pay his way through to medical school, he takes a job as dorm manager at Seiwa University High School, a place known for its elite sports programs. The catch? He's now living alongside five competitive female athletes — a basketball player, a soccer star, a swimmer, a table tennis ace, and a volleyball player — all under a strict no-romance policy. You can already see where the comedy writes itself. This is the mini anime companion to the main Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun TV series, running 12 short chibi-style episodes that lean fully into the silly side of dormitory life. Think exaggerated reactions, quick gags, and the kind of low-stakes character moments that work perfectly in bite-sized format. Kōyō is just trying to be professional, but five athletes with wildly different personalities make that harder than it sounds. If you liked the absurd sports energy of Keijo or the goofy ensemble dynamics of KonoSuba, this hits a similar comedic wavelength — just smaller and cuter. It's not trying to be deep or dramatic. It's a light, funny palette cleanser based on a web manga, and the chibi format means each episode gets in, lands its jokes, and gets out before anything overstays its welcome. Good for when you want something short and dumb in the best way.
