📖 SYNOPSIS
"Sarazanmai" unfolds in Asakusa, where three middle school students, Kazuki Yasaka, Tooi Kuji, and Enta Jinnai, encounter Keppi, a strange kappa-like being. Keppi steals their shirikodama, transforming them into kappa. To revert to their human forms, the boys must connect with each other and collect shirikodama from zombies. This task requires them to work together, but the nature of their connection is unclear.
Simultaneously, the narrative introduces Reo Niiboshi and Mabu Akutsu, two policemen stationed at a local police box. Their actions and motivations remain shrouded in mystery, hinting at a parallel storyline that may intersect with the kappa boys' quest. The anime explores themes of connection, transformation, and the secrets that lie beneath the surface of everyday life in Asakusa.
