I feel like this episode pacing is a bit slower than the rest, but also necessary. This is because, this episode feels like a preparation before a big battle, where we should know where everyone is, and which character are in which group as they enter. But from a character stand point, I think this is the spiralling that we need from Katsushiro, the build up for his eventual character development later. I do wonder how do you pull a character that's spiralling like this tho.
