Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin

Hmmm es una historia entretenida, el soundtrack es genial, eso no lo dudo, pero me dió la impresión de que se quedaba algo corta en ciertas partes, tuvimos un poco de la historia de los personajes secundarios, y esas historias aunque muy cortas (excepto la de los niños, que la verdad soy su fan) teniendo en cuenta la época de sintieron sólidas, pero no se sintió del todo que la serie despegara. De todas maneras es una serie interesante de ver, que respeta mucho el contexto en que se desarrolla al poner bastante atención a los detalles, pero si en términos de desarrollo de la historia me parece que le faltó

This series is truly peak rice glazing story. The nature of Omizuchi that was never hinted made sure I cannot expect the kind of Boss fight, but I'm glad there was a degree of personality to the demon. All of the characters have satisfying arc, including Kaimaru. It was certainly a satifying though maybe not groundbreaking story. But something I like to recommend to a friend.

They didn't have to up the emotional stakes but they DID and didn't hold back! It's almost evil but so GOOD! It's also peak dynamic between Sakuna and Tama.

One of the best episode so far, especially the profound exploration of Ishimaru's character as an antagonist and the theme of his hatred being something planted and spread. He creates great symbolization that people can truly see the harm of simply succumbing to hatred. There's also the implicit reasoning reveal of why the people weren't growing older. I also enjoy how deconstructing Sakuna's character is something that is gradually made throughout the episode with different facets of it.

The stakes has been raise higher as Sakuna was confronted with the loss of her hard work and reach a different point of rock bottom. I love how she never hid her distress while overcoming her trial that makes her peak of character growth all the more profound. It's also one of the most emotional episode as it explored themes of rising back up after a natural disaster and hatred for hatred's sake. The show did well in intertwining those themes together.

(⁠⌐⁠■⁠-⁠■⁠) hmm es decir fue un buen capítulo, las partes de acción como siempre con detalles pero nada trágico, y cierra porno menos lo principal, la banda sonora del final bella, muy bonita y calza con el momento (⁠눈⁠‸⁠눈⁠) pero hay varias cosas que quedan en el aire, que aunque no están con la trama principal si son relevantes (al menos para mí), el qué pasa después es un clásico pero por lo menos el pseudo estado de divinidad de los humanos siento que fue dejado de lado, y entiendo que el chiquitín esté más desarrollado en ese aspecto pero es que igual es como "mira tira rayos láser" osea... qué pasó ahí?

(⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠) cuando al fin me transmite y es para hacerme llorar, sin necesidad de contar historias del pasado, simplemente con lo que hemos visto en la serie y la reacción de los personajes es suficiente para llorar, por un momento creí que harían un guionazo, pero fue acertado la desición, además ese pequeño flashback del final acabó conmigo, me voy a llorar al rinconcito

Kokorowa and Sakuna's relationship is peak drama. I love that half the time, we spent it doubting on her integrity before being confronted with the truth. Not to mention, the absolute peak growth of Sakuna as her character was truly tested this time.

The premise of this episode is something of interest and moral dilemma. We also get to see Kokorawa witnessed Sakuna's dynamic with the humans that provides interesting perspective to her maturity. The plot twist was surprising and bring great fight.

Another episode that shows the pivotal growth of Sakuna to be the Harvest Goddess that she was always meant to be. But what made the episode shine than the others is highlighting Kokorawa's character, separated from Sakuna, and the complexity of the dynamic between them.

One of the most pivotal episode for Sakuna to date as we explore more on her parent's background as well as Ashigumo as a character. The episode also grants great metaphor of how community builds Sakuna's strength just as it takes group effort to make rice.

"Unrequited Love Story" unironically has good relationship advice though our little goddess lack the understanding of it. Finally, exploring the history between Kinta and Yui was also fun since there was a bit of inspiration from old folk tale.

This is the first time there's an acknowledgement of different religions in a setting where the protagonist considered herself a god. This is also the episode where we explore of each of the human's deal; their motivation, their passion, their skill. Further cementing the foundation of their dynamic and how they'll move forward in their new environment.

This is truly the episode where the character reach rock bottom and make a great demonstration for how much group effort needed to grow rice, not just by the planter but by various people and jobs. The story also begins to show the bit by bit process of rice planting that made the viewers truly appreciate the grueling effort that had feed us for thousand of years.

Sakuna is so childish yet so cool!!! I love her and the subtle way they show the complexity of her character. I also love the humans that explains their reckless behavior of stealing from the gods from the previous episode. The designs of the demons are all so colorful and unique, it really makes you feel like you were taken into a new world.

At first glance, beautiful art. The visuals are unique and really eye-catching as it doesn't follow the traditional style of anime that makes it stand out. The design of the setting is beautiful and the animation smooth. That characters for the most part are all unique. It's also interesting to find a powerful character depicted as a child, so I can only imagine the potential coming-of-age story this can make and interesting dynamic with adult humans.

Ok no me esperaba varias cosas, si siento que podrían explicar más el porque, porque así de la nada "vee mira que el bebé brilla" y pues si hay explicación pero necesito explicación de la explicación Me gusta ver más de Tauemon, el tipo es un bonachón, pero ese nivel de amabilidad no llega solo, además que muestran más su relación con Ishimaru, aunque hay cosas que la verdad no entendí del todo, pero en general un capítulo dinámico, mejoró en cuanto a escenas de acción eso sí

Hmm, un si pero no, el tono que toma en la primera mitad me gusta bastante, muestra el crecimiento de Sakuna y como ella misma reflexiona sobre ese cambio y lo que realmente quiere, ya en la segunda mitad me parece curioso el tema, asumo que será algo que van a explorar más en el siguiente capítulo, pero el perdón fue como muy de la nada, porque no fue que Sakuna se aproxime tranquila, estaba alterada y de un momento a otro parece calmarse, esa parte es algo rara Por demás la historia coge más ritmo, y los progresos y cambios son más evidentes, aunque si noté pequeños detalles en la animación

Ah caray, no esperaba ese plot twist, honestamente pensé que iban a lo mismo de que hay una situación grave pero no parece tan grave, pero admito que me sorprendieron 乁⁠|⁠ ⁠･⁠ ⁠〰⁠ ⁠･⁠ ⁠|⁠ㄏ Esta vez sí se siente la gravedad de la situación, aunque teniendo en cuenta todo, si no lograban transmitir la situación sería una falla grandísima, aunque se siente algo superficial todavía, de todas maneras, es un buen capítulo, tiene acción, drama y plot twist, es una gran mejora al ritmo que traían

hmmmm, no sé, es que si hay conflicto, y las razones y la forma de abordar el conflicto me gustaron, chistosamente, lo que sucedió es algo muy humano, básicamente creer en la meritocracia hace esas cosas Y aunque el conflicto me gustó mucho, la serie no logra transmitir la gravedad de la situación, creo que ese es problema en general, no logran transmitir correctamente las situaciones
