Ryuudouji Shimon no Inbou
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A recruitment letter promising a teaching position pulls Shimon Ryuudouji into a prestigious all-girls academy. Sounds like a lucky break — until he walks through the doors and realizes this school is running something far darker than a standard curriculum. The headmistress, Sayaka Ryuuzaki, has built an institution with a very different agenda, and Shimon finds himself tangled in a web of manipulation and moral compromise he didn't sign up for. The power dynamics between the staff, the students, and the wealthy figures pulling strings behind the scenes give it a genuinely unsettling atmosphere. It's not just shock value — there's a psychological edge to how control gets exercised and who holds it at any given moment. The character designs are detailed and the animation holds up well across the two-episode runtime, which keeps things focused rather than stretched thin. If you've watched something like Bible Black or Discipline: The Record of a Crusade and appreciated when these titles actually bother to build tension and context before diving in, this one scratches a similar itch. It shares DNA with Night Shift Nurses in terms of institutional settings being used to frame darker power dynamics. It's a short commitment at two episodes, adapted from a visual novel, so the story moves with purpose. Dark, deliberate, and not particularly interested in making you comfortable.
