A funny comedy-action series! My intro to this show was the ADV dub era, so I have fond memories of it. It's actually part of the Sword World series along with Record of Lodoss War, but you don't need to have seen Lodoss to enjoy this one.

The characters form a party after an inciting event early on, and from there it's mostly hijinks and comedic adventures-while a darker, more serious plot simmers in the background. It's a genuinely fun watch.
