huyenvu1999★★★★★AnimeIt's been a long time since I've seen such an old animation style and graphic like this. It's refreshing to be honest and has that originality to it, something I can not experience with any of the modern style animation, it somehow feels more authentic and genuine. The plot is interesting as well, some of the scenes really captured my attention, the story remind me of other old and epic Japanese animation movie I've watched before. I'm really fond of the notion of technology intertwined with people, now that I've noticed the anime poster it does makes sense haha.
andrea24770★★★★★AnimeIt had pretty good animation despite being from 1991, it had an interesting story that still works and it has too much references to a technology company- The music is not so memorable but the plot and characters were entertaining.
turtlerunstudios★★★★★AnimeAhh! Hand drawn animation is the best it's has such a unique rough around the edges look, yet it's so warm, vivid, and most of all, alive you can always tell when the people working on these types of Films that a lot lot of love and dedication to the craft was put in. The dialogue is timeless, love the witting banter between the patients. Mitsuru was pure comic relief though he did come in clutch at the right times. Haruko was doing too much, she's amazing but she put a lot of people in danger and the ending kinda shows it in a way with its open interpretation, it was a hilarious loved their reactions at the end. Great movie, would definitely recommend this to others 5 stars baby!!!
yayiyuyooo★★★★★AnimeThere is something special about this anime that focus on deep social and and technological themes rather than flashy animation. That mid-2000s or retro aesthetic actually adds to the atmosphere. It grounds the story and makes the human moments hit so much harder. When the writing and emotional heart are that strong, top-tier graphics don't even matter.
