Synopsis
Set in the Italian Alps and Milan, "Romeo's Blue Skies" follows young Romeo, who is forced to leave his home in Italian Switzerland. He signs a contract with a deceitful man to earn money for his ailing father's medical care. This contract leads him across the mountains to Milan, where he is sold to work as a chimney sweep's helper. Amidst the harsh realities of child labor, abuse, and violence, Romeo forms deep and lasting friendships with other young chimney sweeps. These bonds of shared hardship lead them to create a fraternity known as "The Black Brothers," a group dedicated to supporting and helping each other through their difficult circumstances. The series explores themes of friendship, resilience, and the struggle for survival in a challenging environment.
