Synopsis
Set in 2019, within the Steins;Gate worldline, "Robotics;Notes" depicts a near future where the PokeCom, running PhoneDroid OS, popularizes Augmented Reality. At Central Tanegashima High School, the Robot Research Club, led by the ambitious Akiho Senomiya, is on the verge of disbandment. Kaito Yashio, the club's other member, is engrossed in robot fighting games and shows little interest in the club's survival. Akiho, however, is determined to complete a giant robot to save the club. Their lives change when Kaito discovers the Kimijima Report, an A.R. annotation detailing a conspiracy involving a figure named Kou Kimijima, setting the stage for a mystery within a world of advanced technology. The anime explores themes of ambition, technological advancement, and the pursuit of dreams.
