📖 SYNOPSIS
At Feiliu Fire Station, Han Yan leads a crew of young firefighters—Jiang Mingsheng, Ning Wei, Fan Haoyuan—the kind of people who sprint into burning buildings while everyone else runs out. The first episode throws you straight into a high-rise blaze that sets the bar for what this 6-episode ONA is going to look like: intense, visceral, and surprisingly detailed about actual firefighting technique. HM Heros studio clearly did their homework on equipment and procedure, which grounds the action in a way that makes the danger feel real rather than theatrical.
But what keeps you watching past the fire scenes is the downtime. These characters joke around the station, deal with personal baggage, and build the kind of tight-knit dynamic that makes you actually nervous when they're in danger. There's also a suspense thread woven through the episodes involving cases that aren't as straightforward as they seem, which adds a layer beyond the rescue-of-the-week format.
If you liked the firefighting energy of Fire Force but wanted something more grounded and less supernatural, this is your show. Fans of Megumi no Daigo will appreciate the realistic approach to the profession, and the character work has shades of what made Rescue Me feel lived-in. The tone bounces between action-packed rescue sequences and genuinely emotional beats about sacrifice and brotherhood. At only six episodes, it doesn't waste your time—every scene earns its place.
