This labyrinth that the school has sure is a convenient plot hole device considering they don't scrutinize what happens in there. Some nice animation during Nanao's fight, it looked great. Yet somehow it was topped by revealing so much all at once. I wasn't expecting Oliver to have that much of a gruesome backstory but I'm all for it. A show stopper kind of episode.
