Here's the twist though: his healing ability lets him quietly absorb the memories and skills of everyone he treats, meaning he's been slowly becoming the most powerful person in the world while everyone assumes he's weak. By the time he figures out the full scope of what he can do, he uses it to rewind time four years and start everything over, this time on his own terms. The TV series is 12 episodes and pulls zero punches about what kind of show it is. If you've seen Goblin Slayer or The Rising of the Shield Hero and wanted something even darker and more unfiltered, this fits that space. It shares DNA with Arifureta too, disrespected protagonist, revenge arc, fantasy world, but leans harder into the grim side. Fair warning: this earns its erotica and gore tags. It's genuinely not for everyone, and that's not a criticism. If dark revenge fantasy with an unconventional magic system sounds appealing, this delivers exactly what it promises.
