Record of Ragnarok

Synopsis
Once a millennium, the gods from every mythology, Greek, Norse, Hindu, all of them, sit down and vote on whether humanity deserves to keep existing. This time, they unanimously vote to wipe us out. But Brunhilde, the eldest Valkyrie, crashes the meeting with a counteroffer: Ragnarök. Thirteen gods versus thirteen of humanity's greatest warriors across history, one-on-one fights to the death. If the humans take seven wins, mankind survives. The gods think it's a joke. Brunhilde is dead serious. This 12-episode ONA from Graphinica is basically a tournament arc as its entire premise, and honestly, it knows exactly what it is. You're here to watch legendary historical figures throw down against actual gods, each fighter getting backstory that makes you care before the blood starts flowing. The Valkyries themselves become weapons for the human fighters, which adds a cool layer to the power system beyond just punching harder. The vibe is dark and emotional but never pretends to be more than spectacle with heart. It's a seinen manga adaptation, so the gore is real and the stakes feel heavy. If you liked the Servant battles in Fate/Stay Night or the historical figure mashups in Drifters, this scratches a similar itch. Fans of Killing Bites will recognize the "explain the ability, then watch it play out" structure. It's straightforward tournament fighting with mythological flair, and it commits fully to that premise.

Poseidon vs Sasaki conclusion delivered unpredictable action that kept flipping. Sasaki’s zero to hero arc felt cliche but the fight scenes were interesting. Episode ending built hype for next season with a whole new fight style.
Fight gets way more intense now. Both Sasaki and Poseidon go all out. No one’s dominating. Still no winner yet, they’re just getting serious.
First half dragged with flashbacks, but the second half hit back with action. Ended on an intense moment and a brutal cliffhanger that left me wanting more.
I thought the same at the first beginning, total plot armor vibes for this matchup. But who knows how it ends? First half just builds tension so the second half can deliver it nicely.
This episode concludes the fight between Zeus and Adam. All I can say is: masterpiece fight. Satisfying, intense, and brutal. Missing this episode would be a loss because the fight scene looked so promising.
The fight is getting much more intense! Adam's words really touched all of our hearts. This episode contains a lot of flashbacks and dragged-out moments, so the actual fight scenes are very few. Watch it if you want Adam's backstory, but skip it if you only want action scenes!
The action fight looks like a boxing match! But it’s way more intense and brutal. In this episode, we can see one side completely dominating and that’s what scares me, because it might be a twist. Overall, watch it if you love fights with less flashback. Skip if you... actually, no need to skip. It’s a must-watch episode!
In the first half of the episode, it made me feel sad for a moment because there’s a death in this tournament. It gives us a breather. Also, the animation looks weird during the violin scene. There’s no fight in this episode, but at the end it shows us who the next competitor is and I can already smell some plot armor coming from it
I could tell from the beginning who was going to win and lose because an event happens early on that basically gives it away. The middle of the episode is filled with flashbacks, which makes the fight drag a bit. And yeah, the ending of the episode is pretty brutal
This episode is way more intense, and the best part is there are no more flashbacks! It’s just Lü Bu vs Thor from start to finish. The moment was serious the whole time, but at the end of the episode the fight is about to conclude and leaves us on a cliffhanger!
This episode focuses entirely on action fight scenes! Everyone shows off their own abilities. It’s the true spirit of a fighter! Watch it if you want non-stop intensity. Skip if you can’t handle the flashback parts and there are certain scenes where the animation looks a bit ‘broken'
It’s only the first episode, but the pacing is already fast. Brunhilde’s setup the fight takes up the first half of the episode. Then the second half jumps straight into action, Lü Bu vs. Thor! No waiting around, the fight scene happens right in this episode!
The third round features Poseidon and Sasaki. Sasaki and the Valkyrie sister Hrist, team up to create a new weapon. After considering several approaches to face Poseidon, Sasaki decides not to make the first move. In a flashback, the story of Poseidon and his brother Adamas.
This is much better than the first episode as it gets more intriguing, especially with that last scene. The fight seemed to be dragging, though, but I guess that's literally what the anime was about, lol.
Great way to start the episode and the premise of the story. It's a bit slow-paced, though. Interesting characters and story that will keep you intrigued. Just hope it would be better with the pacing as it goes on.
Not as much action as the last few episodes. Can’t wait for the next fight though
Kinda predictable, but still has me on the edge of my seat
I really enjoyed sasaki’s back story this episode. I can’t want to find out how the greatest loser in history fares against the God of the sea
To see the creators give a different depth to the story of Adam, Eve and the garden of Eden is so refreshing. To bring Creator vs First man this early in the season was pretty bold. It's pretty slow in this episode but I can appreciate the build up.
Still one of the best fights in the entire series. Even tho it shorts, really shorts, but we can feel what father's love looks like in the PUREST FORM. As the first human also technically the first father in the entire human races, Adam is great a human and father.
