📖 SYNOPSIS

Set in 2061, "Real Drive" depicts a world fifty years after the advent of the Network society. While initially promising a utopian connection, the Network led to data leaks and misinformation. The "Metal," a more secure network, emerged, housing personal memory data in bubble shells. However, the Metal's safety allowed users to unleash their instincts, creating a conflict between the controlled virtual world and the regulated real world. This friction manifests as inexplicable aberrations. Masamichi Haru, a cyber diver, investigates these incidents, venturing into the depths of the Metal to understand the mysteries that bridge the gap between reality and the digital realm. The series explores themes of societal reliance on technology, the consequences of unchecked desires, and the struggle to reconcile the virtual and the real.
