I take back what I said from the previous episode review. I officially ship Kamui and Ultimatia, their relationship and chemistry were beautiful. With so many plot holes are still left, The last episode serves as hook into the possibility of a second season instead of a closure. Great watch, overall 7.5/10.

The penultimate episode, showing flashbacks both for Kamui and Ultimatia. It did gave us a better understanding to the dragons but I can't help but feel it distrupted the plot flow.

Emotional background exposition to the Argentum squad. After being showed their journey to meet Princess Lia, it finally made sense why each of them were ready to lay down their life for her. Character writing yet again takes the spotlight in this show.

High-octane battles in this episode, giving us perspective of each isolated fight. Unfortunately, visual quality dropped at some moments and looked clunky, other than that everything else stays high quality.

This is it, every emotional dialogue has been said and build up for this moment. The Argentum corpse, Ragna and Crimson servants has gathered for the final battle against the dragons. Tension is high and so is the stakes.

Okay, stuff just got confusing. It's a dialogue heavy episode but it answers none of the questions left by previous episodes, everything stays superb buat pacing starts to get all over the place again like the start of the show. 5/10.

The introduction of a new character admist all the chaos that took the squad after the battle, the air is eerily relaxed and tense at the same time. Looking forward where this set-up goes, 8/10.

I swear, the writers don't miss on this anime. Emotionally charged episode wrapped in high quality combat scene, everything is above the average here. Damn you, Kamui.

Zora’s warped loyalty to his former liege collides with Starlia’s righteous determination, making their duel feel personal instead of just flashy. Both dragon side and human side characters written in such way that gave them weight. 8/10.

Crimson back to their usual shenanigans while everyone is busy staying alive, classic gremlin behaivour LOL. I'm falling in love with the character writing in this show, they really drive the point to not take people at face value. 7/10.

While there's plenty of action scenes to be enjoyed, it does feel slightly unnecessary. This whole episode is just to show how the stakes are getting higher for the squadron and Olto Zora plans keeping them pressured. 6/10.

This episode is filled with solid, adrenaline‑heavy battle that expands the scale of the conflict. Ragna vs Taratectra were good but slightly lackluster, presumably postponed for larger scene in future episode. 8/10.

This episode mostly revolve around Princess Lia conviction and mentaility while also highlighting her chemistry with Ragna. Planning stages are over, both sides are ready to come to blows. 7/10.

Yet another set-up episode, mainly showing both humans and dragons side planning their next course of action and some building information to understand the world and how it works. Pace drop is significant but relevancy to the plot is still high.

Mostly a set-up episode for the upcoming arc but what I didn't expect was the quite emotionally heavy scene from the dragons side. Despite being the enemy, Woltekamui and Ultimatia chemistry is interesting enough to hook in. Great episode, 8.5/10.

A big swing into more relaxed and comedic tone in this episode, introducing Princess Lia and her squadron. The tension is still there but the lighthearted theme is not a bad break after so many high-octane episodes. I had a good laugh, 8.5/10.

We got our first Crimson-centric episode, and boy they didn't disappoint. It made Crimson stance clear, they WANT to kill dragons at all cost. Their character is potrayed as someone who's above morality for the sole purpose of achiveing their goals. I love it.

The best episode so far, filled with full blown action and crazy power ups both from Ragna and Ultimatia. The end of the fight was cliched but reasonable, can't let the anime end at episode 7 after all. Crimson JP voice actor is doing the heavy lifting here, that range is unbelieveable.

Ragna's mono-dialogue as he question his own conviction and beliefs before eventually engaging Ultimatia is a nicely written character development where it stays grounded and realistic considering he's just a weak hapless boy not too long ago.
