I really enjoyed this! I loved how easy it was to empathize with the characters, especially with Isumi. I used to do sports and each failure was both a hindrance and a push to abandon everything, so I liked her a lot. The music and the pacing are good too. I would have loved more protagonism from Aoi, Konatsu and Asahi. But, I think that this works fine.

A cute slice of life that drags its characters out of the harsh mundanity into a fantasy world, however with odd pacing, questionable animation, and very simple premise and writing it leaves much to be desired.

Pop in Q blends fantasy and coming-of-age themes effectively. The scenes where Isumi and the other girls arrive in the Valley of Time create a strong sense of mystery, while Pocon's guidance adds charm. The animation and dance sequences make the movie's opening journey engaging and memorable.
