Every segment is basically a new sketch where these demons try something, fail spectacularly, and learn nothing from it. If you enjoyed the oddball humor of Di Gi Charat or the low-key absurdity of something like Ponkotsuland Saga, this hits a similar wavelength. It's parody that doesn't require you to be deeply invested in fantasy lore to get the jokes, though it helps if you've ever played an RPG.
