"Paul Rusch: His Life and Dream" follows the journey of Paul Rusch, an American missionary who first arrives in Japan in 1925 to assist the Young Men's Christian Association following the Great Kantou earthquake. He becomes a professor at Rikkyo University and develops a deep connection with Japan. The outbreak of the Pacific War forces him to leave, but he returns in 1945 as an officer of General Headquarters, saddened by the loss of his former students. Witnessing the devastation, Paul dedicates himself to helping the people of Kiyosato, a highland area in Yamanashi Prefecture. He raises funds, builds facilities, and establishes Japan's first highland dairy farm. Furthermore, he takes on the crucial task of improving post-war relations between the Japanese and American people.
