Papa Love: Papa to Icha Ero Shitai Musume-tachi to Hitotsu Yane no Shita de

When her father Haruki struggles in the wake of her mother's death, Ayame Kizaki is left watching from the sidelines — until she catches him with her sister Hyouka's underwear, and something clicks in her head — an idea that's equal parts tender and completely out of bounds. She starts wondering if she can fill the void her mother left behind, in every sense of the word. That's the setup, and the show doesn't shy away from where it goes from there. Based on Blue Gale's visual novel and produced by PoRO over two episodes, this one leans fully into its premise without much pretense. Character designs from Hikaru Kinohara give the whole thing a clean, polished look that fans of the studio's output will recognize immediately. The household dynamic is the core of it — the push and pull between familial roles and something far less appropriate, filtered through Ayame's internal conflict. If you've watched Kiss in the Dark or Even a Dad Still Wants It and found that particular domestic tension interesting, this hits a similar note. Hitotsu Yane no Shita fans will also find the single-household intimacy familiar, though this one goes considerably further. It's a short commitment at two episodes, adaptation is faithful to the source material, and it doesn't waste much time getting where it's going. Know what you're walking into before you start.
