Synopsis
After their parents' divorce, Akira and his younger sister Yui have been living alone together. He stepped up to fill the parental role: cooking, looking after her, keeping things stable. It worked, mostly. But as Yui gets older, Akira starts noticing things he probably shouldn't, and the comfortable sibling dynamic they built starts developing some serious cracks underneath. That internal tension, the guilt, the denial, the line between protector and something else entirely, is really what this 4-episode OVA is sitting with. It doesn't rush past the discomfort. If anything, it leans into it. The animation from New Generation is clean and carries the emotional weight better than you might expect from a hentai OVA, and the character work gives Akira more interiority than the genre usually bothers with. It's not a feel-good story. The premise is uncomfortable by design, and the show knows it. If you've watched something like Aki Sora and wanted the emotional conflict to feel a little more grounded, or if Kiss x Sis left you wanting something with less comedy and more actual tension, this one goes in a different direction. Based on the manga, so the pacing feels considered rather than improvised. Go in knowing what you're signing up for, the incest angle is front and center, and there's no attempt to soften that. But within that framing, it's more thoughtful than most.

the way he looked at her after the divorce was so obsessive and you can really see how the paternal role he took on just warped into something else entirely
I felt so tense when he finally crossed the line after she mentioned that school friend confession because it was obvious he was losing his mind with jealousy over her
seeing yui just lying there and pretending to be asleep while akira was doing all that made the whole scene feel way more twisted and dark than expected
the animation on the skin textures and the way Akira reacts to Yui growing up makes the taboo nature of this feel way more real
the fact that Yui is actually conscious during those nightly visits is what stays with you because it makes the whole situation so much more complicated
I was not expecting the story to go this way after the parents divorced and Akira started taking care of her every day. It makes his internal struggle feel more intense when he finally snaps after hearing about that school confession. Seeing him move from just watching to actually doing something while she was supposedly sleeping was a lot to take in and then that twist happened.
the moment Yui brings up the friend from school is when everything goes south and Akira stops just watching her
it hit me hard when the realization that Yui was wide awake finally happened because that changes how you view everything Akira did
the growing frustration Akira feels with the distance between them makes that final scene in the bedroom feel inevitable
Akira really lost his cool the second Yui mentioned that guy from school and it changed the whole dynamic of their night visits
you can really see the shift in Akira after their parents left because he went from being a brother to acting like a dad until his desires took over
The way the lighting hits Yui's skin in the bedroom scenes makes the whole atmosphere feel very heavy, and the secret she is keeping about being awake adds a lot of tension to the encounter.
I actually felt a bit of a chill when it showed Yui was awake the whole time and just letting it happen for some reason
I was actually surprised by the production quality here because the character art stayed consistent through the whole episode and the emotional beats hit harder than expected. It felt like Akira was genuinely struggling with his role as a protector versus his darker side and seeing Yui just lying there awake while he did that was such a heavy moment for me.
the whole incest thing is just way too much even with the drama about their parents
it is definitely messed up how he just goes into her room while she is asleep but it seems like she knows exactly what is happening
you can really see how the divorce messed them up and why she is so clingy now
the animation actually looked pretty good and I did not expect Akira to feel so much guilt about what he was doing to Yui
The part where she mentions a confession from a friend really pushed things too far for him and that ending shot of her being awake was actually terrifying
