the5kings11_rated Orb: On the Movements of the Earth
A bit of bias towards the soundtrack, I must admit.
However, for a series that portrays itself from the onset as a historical drama about astronomy. It becomes a story about heresy. Then philosophy. Then faith. Then the transmission of knowledge like a baton in a relay race. And somewhere along the way, it realizes that its true subject is neither the Earth nor the heavens, but human curiosity itself and that constant reinvention of perspective is not a bad thing.
It encourages us to challenge the notion “That is impossible,”. Because taking that step may allow us to really glimpse into that 'impossible' someday.
Of course, there is a disconnect between arcs that may leave people feeling disatisfied. Nevertheless, great show.
