As befitting of the last episode, it raised the stkes to the highest level, all the while showing the character developments of not only Arikoto, but also Iemitsu (Chie), as well as the developments of Japanese society in response to the disorder caused by the redface pox. What a really beautful show despite the limitations of its character animation, and despite everything I hope it gets a Season 2 someday.
