📖 SYNOPSIS
Picture this: a tiny shark and a round cat walking into a movie theater together. That's not the setup to a joke — it's literally what this short film is about. Odekake Kozame Movie: Tokai no Otomodachi x Yoru wa Neko to Issho Manner Eizou is a crossover between the Odekake Kozame and Yoru wa Neko to Issho franchises, made by Studio DLE as a manner movie — one of those pre-screening shorts that reminds audiences to silence their phones and not talk during the film. Except instead of a generic slide, you get Kozame the little shark and Kyuruga the cat bumbling through city life and demonstrating proper etiquette in the most charming way possible. The whole thing is comedic and lighthearted, built around the oddball dynamic of a shark and a cat just trying to figure out how to behave in public. It's brief, it's sweet, and the character interactions carry a surprising amount of warmth for something that's essentially a public service announcement. If you enjoyed the cozy cat vibes of Nights with a Cat or the gentle absurdity of The Everyday Tales of a Cat God, this scratches a similar itch. It's not going to change your life, but if you're already a fan of either series, seeing these two worlds collide — even for a few minutes — is a genuinely pleasant little treat. Educational content has rarely been this cute.
