Synopsis
After dying of illness in her original life, a woman wakes up as Celine Eldred — the overweight, spoiled villainess from a novel she knows all too well — and she knows she's in deep trouble. Celine is the older sister of the story's heroine, and if things play out like they're supposed to, Prince Wilfred is going to have her killed. Not great. So Celine decides to completely turn her life around: lose the attitude, be a better person, and quietly avoid the death flags the original story laid out for her. Simple enough plan, right? Except her whole self-improvement arc somehow catches the attention of the very prince she's trying to avoid, and now he's weirdly fixated on her. The romance here has that push-and-pull dynamic where Celine is desperately trying to stay off the radar while the so-called "last boss" keeps pulling her closer. What makes this one stand out from the usual villainess isekai is that Celine's body and appearance are actually part of the story — she's not magically skinny by episode two, and the narrative doesn't treat her weight as something that needs fixing before she deserves love. It's a small thing, but it adds a layer you don't usually get in this genre. If you liked I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss or The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen, this hits similar notes — fate-defying villainess, complicated prince, fantasy romance — but with its own warmth and a protagonist who feels genuinely refreshing.
