No wonder the twins were kind of indifferent. They hold a different role as daughters from the temple. The story is more focus on Akari's side though. Akari's back story shows reality that being different may sometimes lead to indifference and isolation. Although Akari is guarded, seeing her with the butterfly clips seems to show that she is starting to open up.
