This is SO GOOD! This is such a satisfying growth for Chiaki in his relationship with Nodame. Of course there's nothing wrong with going far in his career, but I had been concern before that Chiaki was going to put his career and dream first with little regard to his relationship. So having him actively supporting Nodame in one of her worst struggle is such great writing and payoff for his neglectful choice in previous episodes.
