Synopsis

At only six years old, Noah Ararat — the thirteenth prince of his empire — could probably destroy most adults in his kingdom, which is a weird sentence to type but here we are. He's the thirteenth prince, meaning he's so far from the throne that nobody really pays attention to him — and that's exactly how he likes it. See, Noah was reincarnated into this royal family with two absurdly broken abilities: an infinite level cap and a skill that lets him absorb the powers of anyone who serves under him. So every loyal retainer, every sworn knight, every talented subordinate just makes him stronger by existing nearby. It's a wild power system that actually rewards good leadership instead of just grinding monsters in a field somewhere. But the real hook here isn't the combat — it's the politics. This is a 12-episode TV series where throne succession drama runs underneath everything. Rival princes are scheming, noble factions are maneuvering, and Noah has to figure out how much of his strength to reveal without painting a target on his back. Think of it as the political layering of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom mixed with the overpowered protagonist energy of Overlord. If you liked The Rising of the Shield Hero's blend of strategy and action but wanted more court intrigue and less isekai roadtripping, this one from studio CompTown might be your thing. It's sharp, it moves well, and the power absorption mechanic keeps the stakes interesting even when Noah is clearly the strongest person in the room.

Ugh, this episode was so... whatever, I guess the coup attempt was a *little* exciting, but then it just ended with a time skip, baka. 🙄 Not that I care, but I guess it set things up for something... maybe.
The localization of Albert's coup speech was on point across subs and dubs, but Noah's insane power creep made the climax feel more like a Tuesday afternoon tea party than a real coup. So mid.
