Synopsis
One year into his job, well-liked by everyone, and completely unlucky in romance — mostly because he falls hard for a pretty face every single time, that's where we find Eun-kyum when a new team leader walks in looking like that, and he's immediately smitten. The problem? Han Ji-hyuk is also demanding, exacting, and apparently determined to make Eun-kyum's work life as difficult as possible. The guy Eun-kyum was daydreaming about is now the guy giving him the most headaches in the office. That tension between 'I have a crush on my boss' and 'my boss is kind of making me miserable' is exactly where this ONA lives, and it handles that push-pull dynamic with a lot more nuance than you'd expect from 10 episodes. It's funny, but it also takes its characters seriously — Eun-kyum's patterns around attraction, Ji-hyuk's hard exterior, the slow realization that there's more going on beneath the surface. If you've already burned through Sekaiichi Hatsukoi and liked how that show built tension in professional settings, this scratches a similar itch. Fans of Junjou Romantica who want something grounded in a realistic workplace rather than dramatic melodrama will also find a lot to like here. Based on a web manga, it keeps things compact and character-focused without overstaying its welcome. A quiet, engaging watch for anyone into boys love with actual emotional texture.
