Some decent characters being made here. Atleast these characters was given time to develop hence the payoff to the audience is better compared to what came the episode before. A big weakness to this story is still the main character itself is practically invisible for more than 50% of the story at this point, feels like a storyboarding issue to me. Would the next episode fix this and would the payoff where the main character comes in be enough? We'll see.
