GLORY TO MANKIND! As someone who has fond memories of playing NieR:Automata, I’m pleasantly impressed by this adaptation! I LOVE that this ep opens with that one iconic visual of 2B and 9S. IYKYK 😭💕 Usually, game adaptations are quite limited in budget, but imo, this one is not one of them. The art direction and animation are faithful to the OG, the beautiful OST is an absolute HIT, and the voice acting is just as PEAK as it was in the game~ (Ishikawa and Hanae are so GOOD!! 🥺) Plot-wise, this is very similar to how the game begins... It’s a slow but solid intro to this bleak post-apocalyptic world and intriguingly charming characters!!
