Words cannot describe how I feel. How the fuck did a mecha anime turn into this my heart hurts. I won’t sit here and pretend like I understood all of this because I didn’t but you kind of don’t need to the imagery and story alone paint such a beautiful picture of the pain and sadness that we ourselves all feel and experience and it’s also that pain that makes us question why we are all here in the first place if we can feel so alone at times and that’s the beauty of The End of Evangelion it’s shows us that this pain and sadness we feel is what we make it. It really is just a beautiful work of art
